Mr. Niek Hammer, General Manager of Hotel Okura Macau welcomed media friends as well as Mr. Daisuke Usui on his second visit to Macau.  Chef Daisuke again brought the delicacy and refined taste of Kyoto cuisine, while giving heartfelt thanks to Macau’s media for continuing to inform the public of Yamazato’s top cuisine.

Chef Daike Usui highlighted the dishes that were presented, including “Hassun,” a plate of tidbits from mountain and sea, which boasts slow cooked sweet fish with soya sauce.  With this dish Guests serve themselves in the company of the finest Sake rice wine. Preparing ‘Hassun” requires the best quality of ingredients, creativity, high level cooking techniques and a knowledge of how to combine all for the proper flavor.  Each course is carefully presented on a china plate that has been chosen to enhance both appearance and the seasonal theme.
